Tolerances - Length (single pieces): Standard exact cutting offered to +/-2mm, with the ability to cut to the following if requested:

  • Up to 1 metre   +/-0.30mm
  • From 1 to 5 metres  +/-0.50mm
  • From 5 to 10 metres  +/-0.85mm
  • From 10 to 15 metres  +/-1.00mm

Tolerances - Squareness:

  • +/-0.15mm per every 100mm blade travel

Tolerances - 45 degree mitre:

  • Up to 5 metre   +/-1.00mm
  • From 5 to 10 metres  +/-1.35mm
  • From 10 to 15 metres  +/-1.60mm

Tolerances - Mitre angle:

  • +/- one sixth of a degree

2. Drilling: Peddinghaus BDL 1250 drilling facilities available to process many holes of variable sizes across all sections. Measured depth countersinking can also be considered.

 Tolerances - Length (single pieces):

  • Up to 10 metre  +/-1.00mm
  • From 10 to 20 metres  +/-1.50mm
  • From 20 to 32 metres  +/-2.00mm

3. Coping: Process capability for automatically coping material with notches, flange thins and service holes.

Tolerances:

  • All detail to within 3.00mm

4. Shotblasting: Spencer Halstead shotblasting machine to blast clean both processed and plain material. The service can be provided up to and including Sa3, to BS 7079:Part1:1989 (ISO 8501-1-1988)
